m thrilled to share the exciting news that the Clark County community has approved the replacement of the beloved Mt. Charleston Lodge restaurant, which tragically burned down several years ago. This is a momentous occasion, and I want to congratulate Gary Ellis and the entire Ellis family for their dedication and efforts in making this dream a reality. Steelman Partners is immensely proud to have had the opportunity to design this new Lodge in such a historically significant location – the stunning Mt. Charleston in Nevada. Our design pays homage to the past with an elegant A-frame structure reminiscent of the former building. We've carefully selected materials that blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of the mountains, ensuring that the Lodge harmonizes with its surroundings. One of our primary goals is to maintain the area's pristine beauty, so we've taken great care to design soft and subtle lighting that won't disrupt the night sky. Mt. Charleston is a treasure, and we want to ensure that it remains a sanctuary for all to enjoy. In a city like Las Vegas, where buildings often have short lifespans, we aspire for this new Lodge to stand the test of time. We hope that a century from now, people will still come to marvel at the enchanting beauty of Mt. Charleston and its timeless Lodge, just as they have done in the past.
