This week, #Stellantis Chairman John Elkann welcomed Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and his delegation for the inauguration of TechMobility – Stellantis' Hybrid-Flex Mobility & Product Development Center in Betim, State of Minas Gerais. During the visit, the Chairman announced the hiring of 400 new engineers to spearhead the advancement of ethanol-based bio-hybrid technologies in Brazil. This new center will focus on developing high-efficiency hybrid combustion engines that run on both petrol and sugarcane-based ethanol, as well as low and high-voltage electrification technologies. Stellantis is a regional leader in the development of Hybrid-Flex technologies, with two vehicles already available in the Brazilian market and four more planned for 2025. In addition, Stellantis is launching its largest-ever education-focused philanthropy project in South America. This initiative aims to benefit 165,000 students, train 1,000 teachers, and support over 200 schools, making a significant impact on local communities.
