Last week we had the privilege of attending the 3rd Event Inspiration NL Days at De Rijtuigenloods in Amersfoort. 300 Clients, agencies and event professionals explored the future of events under this year's theme, ‘Destination (un)known’. The event highlighted innovation and sustainability, featuring expert speakers, interactive workshops and valuable networking opportunities.
A standout moment for SugarFactory was the daring experiment by Xander Kranenburg and Wytze de Haan from Narrative, named The Pressure Cooker. In just 30 minutes, they demonstrated how AI tools can condense two weeks of work into a live pitch deck for a fictional event, complete with a concept name, copy, imagery, and a mood board with stage design and branding. Their presentation showcased the impressive potential of AI in event planning. Super impressive!
The afternoon featured two rounds of expert presentations covering diverse topics including: Sustainable catering, AI for creative vision, Emission-free event creation, Mastering AI prompting, Addressing event no-shows, Event inclusivity and accessibility, Future working forms and Smart use of LinkedIn for event professionals.
The day concluded with the oh-so-funny Joep van Deudekom and Rob Urgert's engaging new program, 'De Verbinders', blending humor and interaction - leaving us all in stitches with the interactive 'tasks' they gave to the audience.
A huge thank you to the organizers, Event Inspiration, for such an inspiring afternoon! We're excited to integrate these innovative ideas and trends into our future events at SugarFactory.
