#Fashion needs A NEW #BUSINESS MODEL 🙄 I'm tired of hearing fashion #brands talk about #sustainability 🌿 while their business model is based on #consumerism. While it's great to use and discuss new #innovativematerials with a lower environmental #impact, if this is not scalable and only for a niche market, the overall impact will remain small. 😤 Consider brands that are listed on the stock market; they are constantly under the scrutiny of investors aiming for increased profits without any drag down. How do they plan to achieve this? 🤔 Most often, by increasing production – a business model that is certainly not the most sustainable. More products = more Impact. ⚖ Let's project 10 years ahead and envision a business model not based on #overconsumption.
