From an old, vacant building to a stylish, inviting space: SYNRG proudly contributed to the transformation of Barista Café in Purmerend, which opened its doors in August.  When Cavesco asked us to help create this new meeting spot, our architects and project managers went all out. Using Barista Café's formula as the foundation, our architects designed a modern yet warm interior that perfectly aligns with the café's vision, while our project managers ensured a smooth construction process.  The result? A place where you can enjoy delicious coffee and surprising recipes, all served with a smile. At Barista Café, you not only taste the passion for coffee, but you also feel the care that went into every detail of the space.  So, whether you're a coffee lover or just looking for a cozy spot, Barista Café is the place to be!  

We’re thrilled to announce that SYNRG Belgium and SYNRG Netherlands have officially teamed up for Safestore Self Storage’s very first new-build project in Belgium!   Adapting the successful Safestore concept from the Netherlands to the Belgian market brought its share of challenges, from process management to design. However, thanks to the close collaboration between our teams, everything is progressing smoothly.   Safestore’s satisfaction with our expertise and progress has led them to entrust us with an even greater role in future projects. We will not only translate Safestore’s standards to meet Belgian regulations and practices, but also act as their key representative throughout the entire project—from initial design and tendering to contract formation and final delivery.   With a refreshed approach and a dedicated team, we’re ready to take this to the next level! #Belgium #collaboration #newbuild

Stylish architecture meets modern live-work spaces. The Baronie area in Alphen aan den Rijn is now completely scaffold-free!   Around the renovated Baronie factory, modern buildings have been completed, such as Het Havenhuys, which combines iconic elements like the factory’s sawtooth roofs with light, contemporary architecture.   In Phase 3, various buildings are connected by a commercial plinth with large glass storefronts. The Havensuites and a new restaurant along the Rijnhaven Boulevard, together with Het Havenhuys, create an elegant ensemble by the water. Spacious live-work homes and parking garages have been added on Margrietlaan - the underground parking for residents, and ground-level parking for visitors. #phase3 #Baroniehaven #architecture

Paris has gained a new gem of a coffee shop! And it's not just any café, but the very first % ARABICA location in the French capital.   Situated in the bustling streets of Paris, this chic coffee shop exudes luxury and sophistication. It’s the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy an exceptional cup of coffee. Our French colleagues are proud to have contributed to the construction of this stunning location as the Execution Project Manager.   With this successful opening, we look forward to the next project with great excitement. Twelve years ago, we took our first step into Belgium by opening our very first Albert Heijn in Harelbeke. Recently, this shop reopened its doors after extensive refurbishment.    Some shops hold a special place in your (company's) heart. This shop marked the beginning of our journey with Albert Heijn in Belgium. From our colleagues in Rotterdam to those in Den Bosch to everyone on the floor, everyone contributed to making this success possible. The supermarket has now been transformed into a modern, accessible shop, with a refreshed look that perfectly suits our customers' needs.    #special #supermarket #belgium 

Last month, the Safestore project in Amsterdam Osdorp took off. On June 24th, the construction started by driving the first pile into the ground. Since then, there's been non-stop action: all the piles are in, the foundation beams are set, and they've even poured the elevator shaft.  The Safestore project is ready to make a significant impact on sustainability. It uses a demountable construction, allowing the building to be dismantled and reused after its first use. In doing so, the materials used will largely be reusable. Moreover, it contains solar panels to become self-sufficient in energy.  What's really impressive are the eco-friendly touches: green facades, green roofs, and a beautifully landscaped site. It's shaping up to be a standout example of sustainable urban development. Watching this project unfold is truly exciting! #reusable #ecofriendly #amsterdam 

It’s hard to believe that we’re already halfway through 2024! The past six months at SYNRG have flown by, filled with exciting projects and the impressive achievements of our team.    Our notable projects in France and Belgium, alongside the exceptional work by our Rotterdam architects and Den Bosch colleagues, reflect the trust our diverse clients have placed in us. SYNRG has given the corporate restaurant of a Dutch government institution in Groningen a fresh update. The architects have created a professional, natural meeting place with plenty of atmosphere where employees can unwind and connect. With new flooring, freshly painted walls, doors, and frames, along with contemporary and fresh furniture, a modern corporate restaurant has been established. Sustainability was a key focus in this design. The use of natural materials and real plants as decoration not only contributes to a warm and inviting atmosphere but also improves air quality and enhances acoustics. Moreover, incorporating greenery promotes a sense of well-being and connection with nature, which benefits the overall work environment. #architecture #atmospheric #sustainable

Last Thursday, the renovated McDonald's in Kerkrade officially opened its doors! This required update was expertly executed by SYNRG, giving the restaurant a fresh new look. The modern interior concept Alphabet has been introduced, with a completely new kitchen and back area. The restaurant itself has been expanded, providing more seating to welcome additional guests. The lobby has been enlarged for a more spacious feel, guest toilets have been upgraded for greater comfort and the restaurant layout has been optimised to improve the overall guest experience. The outdoor terrace has also been refurbished, providing a pleasant place for customers to enjoy their meals in the pleasant weather.
