This is similar to cloud computing. In cloud computing, businesses use software and services that run on the Internet instead of on their own computers or servers. Companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft provide these services. Businesses can use as much or as little as they need, and they pay accordingly. It's like renting space and tools on someone else's huge computer. The cloud provider takes care of maintenance, security, and upgrades, just like a landlord takes care of an apartment building. On-Premise: Now, imagine owning a house. You have complete control over the property; you can customize it however you want and are responsible for all the maintenance and upkeep. This is similar to on-premise computing. In on-premise computing, a business owns and operates its own computers and servers. Everything is kept in-house at the business's physical location. The business is responsible for buying the necessary equipment, maintaining it, and upgrading it when needed. It provides complete control over the environment and is often chosen for specific needs like enhanced security or particular customization.
