Our collective efforts go on in China! Georgina Harrison, Envision Racing Formula E Team, joined us at China International Import Expo (#CIIE2024) in Shanghai and presented on our partnership and their innovative efforts towards #circularity alongside the award-winning “Recover E” car, the world’s first fully electric formula car made entirely out of e-waste. “Recover E” was created by the team to raise awareness of e-waste, one of the most urgent environmental issues worldwide. #teijin #ewaste

#Circularity was one of the main topics up for discussion at the Race Against Climate Change event held in March in Tokyo. We invited Ms. Yuki Isogai, former Partner at PwC and Mr. Shunsuke Onishi, Corporate Executive Officer at Fujitsu alongside Mr. Akimoto Uchikawa, CEO at #Teijin to the stage for a wide-ranging panel discussion about the challenges and opportunities facing businesses as circularity, and the recycling and re-use of materials, becomes an important element of a sustainable future. In today’s world, a company’s value is increasingly measured not just by economic growth but by its contributions to solving social issues. The answer is simple: we share a common vision to create a sustainable future, along with common values including safety, #sustainability and teamwork. We hope to show a sustainable, yet bright and exciting future together. One of our collective efforts was Race Against Climate Change Tokyo, held back in March 2024. We co-hosted the event, gathering prominent figures with diverse backgrounds to discuss how we can create a #circulareconomy together.
