Closing The Superyacht Forum with visionary insights The final keynote of The Superyacht Forum 2024 delivered a thought-provoking and inspiring conclusion, led by Henry Coutinho-Mason, a self-proclaimed 'reluctant futurist' and one of the world's leading authorities on trends and innovation. In his fast-paced session, Henry explored where the expectations of future customers are headed and how the industry can prepare to meet them. He delved into topics such as emerging technologies, sustainability, and the evolving consumer mindset. Attendees walked away with actionable insights and a renewed sense of possibility. Henry left us with a powerful reflection: "You don’t need to predict the future. Instead, focus on recognising the signals already happening today. Use these to ask better questions about the future you want to create. Ultimately, don’t aim to be a futurist, aim to be a now-ist." As we reflect on this year’s Forum, let’s take this mindset forward and continue to Think Ahead, working together to shape a sustainable and innovative future for the superyacht industry. 🚀 #TheSuperyachtForum #Innovation #Sustainability #ThinkAhead #metstrade2024

Sector leaders take the stage at the opening of The Superyacht Forum Giovanna Vitelli, CEO of Azimut|Benetti Group and Rose Damen, CEO of Damen Yachting, provided valuable insights on opportunities and challenges within the superyachting sector during this morning’s keynote panel, chaired by The Superyacht Group's Martin Redmayne. In this eagerly anticipated session, both CEOs opened with positive reports on their respective company’s currently strong positions. Azimut|Benetti is forecasting ongoing strong growth to around €1.5bn turnover in 2024 after a 15 per cent increase last year, while Damen Yachting has a current order book of more than €1bn despite the loss of the Russian market which had comprised around 20 per cent of its business. Rose Damen also welcomed the clear outcome of the recent US elections which she said had helped eliminate uncertainty. https://lnkd.in/e3QYXYu2 #superyachtforum #metstrade
