📢 TIP and DSV continue refurbishment program, cutting emissions and improving fleet efficiency In 2025, TIP and DSV - Global Transport and Logistics will refurbish 500 Schmitz Huckepack trailers, extending their lifespan by 6 years and ensuring DSV’s trailers keep running smoothly on European routes. This initiative marks another step towards implementing circular solutions that bring real benefits for both fleet management and the environment. Building on the success of refurbishing 1,100 trailers in 2023 and 991 trailers in 2024, TIP and DSV continue to drive emissions reductions and enhance fleet efficiency through refurbishment. 🍃Cutting emissions: Each refurbished trailer saves 16 tons of CO₂ compared to producing a new one. Together, they will save 8,000 tons of CO₂ over extended use period. 📈Doubling value: Extending the lifespan of each trailer by 6 years effectively doubles its operational value for DSV. ⏱️Maximizing uptime: Enhanced maintenance programs minimize downtime and guarantee peak trailer performance, maximizing fleet productivity.
