Weird and Wonderful News x3 - Surprise at the end! 1. Spotlight This week, Trip to the Moon Films’ mid-length film VISLAND (directed by Frits Mossel - Jan O.) had its WORLD PREMIERE at the Imagine Fantastic Film Festival at LAB111 in Amsterdam. The festival's motto is "Weird is Wonderful." We couldn’t agree more — and VISLAND truly embodied the weird and wonderful. 2. Honor after Honor VISLAND also earned us a nomination for the Méliès d’Argent 2024, the honorary award for Europe’s best fantastic short film. An extra honor to us that is, as the award bears the name of Georges Méliès, creator of Le Voyage dans la Lune (for those with a touch of French: Méliès’ 1902 masterpiece gave our own Trip to the Moon Films its name.) Great week for the team that is, thanks to all our fans out there, donators and funds. 3.
