🚀 A Grand Finale for the iSTORMY Project! 🌍 On Tuesday, November 19th, we marked the culmination of over 42 months of research at the #iSTORMY Final Project Event in Brussels, hosted by Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Led by our EPOWERS Research Group, we coordinated this innovative EU project, driving advancements in sustainable energy storage and innovative battery systems. From developing digital twins and failure prediction mechanisms to pioneering fast EMS algorithms, EPOWERS Research Group's contributions shaped the project’s success. The event captured the essence of collaboration and innovation, and we're thrilled to share a glimpse of it with our after-movie. 📣 SUBLIME held its 10th General Assembly – Final Meeting From the 📆 14th to 15th of October 2024, the 10th General Assembly Meeting of the #SUBLIME project was held in Bordeaux (France) under the patronage of Saft. At this tenth hybrid meeting, the work project partners discuss the final status of the remaining ongoing tasks. Promising approaches for addressing the scientific challenges of solid-state 🔋 batteries with sulfide-based solid electrolytes were discussed and strategies on how to continue after closing of the project were set up. 💥 The #SUBLIME project closes now after 4 years of adventures into solid-state batteries equipped with a sulfide solid electrolyte, a NCM cathode and lithium metal anode. 💥 Uniresearch B.V. is a proud partner in the project to support in project management. We are really looking forward to the 3rd and final hackathon of the DOME 4.0 project next week at UCL East Campus in London! The DOME 4.0 project is entering its final stages with the release of the latest platform version and the upcoming Hackathon. For the DOME 4.0 project, Dr. ir. Willem van Dorp from Uniresearch is responsible for the project management.
The EU Horizon 2020 project “Digital Open Marketplace Ecosystem 4.0” (DOME 4.0) is reaching its crucial final stages. Over the past few weeks, the latest version of the platform has been released, a milestone just in time, as we are also gearing up for the 3rd and final hackathon in the project. This hackathon will be held at the new UCL East Campus (London, UK) over 11-12 September 2024. Over the past four years, DOME 4.0 has gone a long way in enabling trusted data sharing to demonstrate semantic interoperability in data, models and software across domains via nine business-to-business showcases in materials and manufacturing sectors. The event will be an excellent opportunity to further disseminate such advancements and at the same time, try new hacks live, to further extend the functionality and features of the platform. The hacks are designed to help participants delve further into the technical aspects of the multi-faceted platform and its services. The hackathon participants, whether they are problem owners, data prosumers, or digital service providers will have the opportunity to engage with the domain experts in the fields of industrial material, manufacturing, data interoperability, digitalisation and digital marketplaces. Alongside the hacks, we are lucky to host and hear from two fantastic keynote speakers, namely Dr Iker Esnaola-Gonzalez from BASF Digital Solutions and Christoph Mertens from the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA). They will provide further insights into unlocking new data and AI-powered solutions powered by semantics, the current and future status of semantic interoperability and the role of data in solving cross-sector and data sharing challenges.
