𝐕𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐏𝐈 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟯 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 ⛴️ We have signed a three-year framework contract with Vattenfall for the charter of offshore installation vessel MPI Resolution to deliver Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services. The MPI resolution will be tasked with servicing Vattenfall turbines across Northern Europe. The enhanced availability of the MPI Resolution will contribute to maximising the efficiency of Vattenfall’s offshore turbines, ultimately increasing fossil-free electricity generation from its existing assets. This contract will provide guaranteed availability of the vessel for several months each year, primarily during the peak maintenance season from early March to late October. The MPI Resolution is dedicated to the O&M market and is fully committed to offshore heavy maintenance campaigns, involving major components. Want to know more about this strategic partnership? 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝟭𝟲 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁✔ Together with our consortium partners of construction consortium De Groene Boog, we received the Certificate of Availability of the A16 Rotterdam motorway from our client Rijkswaterstaat today. A special milestone, which underlines that the A16 Rotterdam meets the requirements of the DBFM-contract on the Availability Date. We are proud that, thanks to intensive and good cooperation between Rijkswaterstaat and De Groene Boog, we have achieved this date on the original contract date. 🤝 From a construction perspective, the A16 Rotterdam is practically complete. Next will be, amongst others, testing all 54 systems in the Rottemeren Tunnel, completing the recreational overpass for people and animals and connecting the A16 Rotterdam motorway to the existing road network. 🌳 On behalf of Rijkswaterstaat and together with Dura Vermeer, Mobilis TBI, Croonwolter&dros, BESIX NL, Rebel, and John Laing we are jointly responsible for the design, construction, financing, and 20-year maintenance of the A16 Rotterdam motorway. #VanOord #Infrastructure #weworktogether

𝐕𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐒𝐑𝐔 𝐣𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐦𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 ✅ We have successfully completed the construction of the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) jetty at Wilhelmshaven, Germany for our client Deutsche Energy Terminal (DET). Together with the client, we developed a tailor-made integrated solution for the project. In total, we installed 10 monopiles as the foundation for the new 600-metre-long jetty and LNG trailing suction hopper dredger Vox Apolonia was deployed to dredge the berth pocket and turning basin to the required depth. 👌 Stan Aarts, Project Director: ‘We are incredibly proud of this achievement. The project is a perfect example of Van Oord’s Marine ingenuity. 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝘀𝘃𝗹𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗲 𝟮 We have started work on the Maasvlakte 2 coastal reinforcement project. This project is part of a larger initiative led by Rijkswaterstaat to safeguard the Dutch coastline. By depositing sand on the shore and on the seabed just offshore (foreshore nourishment), the coast is maintained in a way that ensures that nature itself will protect the port area and Rotterdam's hinterland against the sea. LNG trailing suction hopper dredger Vox Apolonia has the honour to execute the project. 💨 The LNG-powered vessel will deposit 1 million cubic metres of sand to strengthen the coast. Switching to cleaner fuels, brings us one step closer to meeting our target of achieving net-zero emissions. 🎯 Curious? 𝗩𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗼𝗿𝗱’𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲-𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗽𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝘂𝘁 👌 Just a little longer and the Calypso will enter the market and start laying cables on its very first project. The inter-array cables have been loaded onto the vessel at the Port of Blyth in the UK. Soon it will start installing its first cable at RWE’s Sofia Offshore Wind Farm in the UK, one of the largest offshore wind projects in the world. 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐲𝐝𝐝 (𝐔𝐊) 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 🎉 The Lydd Ranges Sea Defences scheme has been completed successfully. Commissioned by the Environment Agency, Van Oord partnered with subsidiary Mackley to execute this coastal flood defence project. The project consisted of 320,000 cubic metres of shingle beach nourishment, the construction of 34 timber groynes, rock armour protection and other flood risk management related asset improvement and replacement works. An important step forwards in terms of sustainability. 🌱 To protect the hinterland from flooding the Waterschap Brabantse Delta has commissioned our subsidiary Paans Van Oord BV to execute the reinforcement and stabilisation of the bank along the river. 🌊 Sustainability, innovation and collaboration are keywords in addressing the challenge of our time.
