💡 The changes to the 30% 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭 were officially confirmed during Prinsjesdag 2024 (Budget Day) yesterday. ❓ Last October, in an unexpected move, the Tweede Kamer (Dutch House of Representatives) approved an amendment to the 30% ruling, set to take effect on January 1, 2024. 📉 The proposed amendment suggested that employees could benefit from the 30% ruling for the first 20 months, followed by a 20% benefit for the next 20 months, and 10% for the final 20 months.
