A new face for VARIBOX in Iberia – Welcome, Ignacio! We are excited to welcome Ignacio Campos Marin as our new Sales Manager for #Iberia, supporting our customers in #Spain and #Portugal. Ignacio takes over from Christophe Maricourt, who is stepping into a new role at iTUB . Christophe will now be fully dedicated to our Takeback Service, ensuring that used VARIBOX #Intermediate #Bulk #Containers are collected, recycled, and that the new raw materials are being transported to our production factories. Discover our new VARIBOX SC Maintenance Service! We are committed to maximizing #safety and #sustainability. Our VARIBOX SC IBCs are designed for a lifespan of up to #10years. To ensure this durability, regular cleaning, inspection, testing, and maintenance in accordance with #ADR #regulations are essential. To keep using your VARIBOX Single Containment for up to 10 years, the inner container needs to be replaced after 5 years. This can be done with our maintenance service. This new service is now available for all our VARIBOX SC customers directly at our factory in Montoir-de-Bretagne, ensuring full compliance with ADR guidelines. With this new service, we provide even greater convenience and reliability. Our team in Montoir-de-Bretagne is ready to professionally maintain and replace inner containers for your VARIBOX SC, ensuring optimal performance and safety throughout their entire lifespan. This week our VARIBOX Account Managers from all the European regions came together for an product training and strategy meeting at our VARIBOX Intermediate Bulk Containers #IBCs. in Montoir-de-Bretagne in France. With a strong focus on our #strategy, #safety and #sustainability it was a fantastic opportunity to exchange knowledge and discuss how we explore ways to further support our customers in their daily operations. And of course, next to the strategic talks, it was a great moment to connect, share experiences, and strengthen our teamwork with a lovely dinner.

A fantastic confirmation of our sustainability journey! The fact that our Double-walled VARIBOX FC IBCs consist of 30% post-consumer recycled material and the integrated pallet contains over 98% PCR highlights how seriously we take our sustainability strategy. ✅

The 2025 edition of the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) has been published by UNECE. This introduces several changes related to Recycled Plastics Material for #Intermediate #Bulk #Containers (#IBCs) such as the VARIBOX, addressing the global developments in #sustainability. Key changes include: - The definition of #Recycled #Plastics #Material has been broadened to encompass plastics sourced from both used industrial packagings and other pre-sorted plastics prepared for new packaging production, including IBCs. - Quality assurance programs must include records of proper pre-sorting and verification that each batch of recycled plastics material is homogeneous and consistent with material specifications. - Specific properties of recycled materials must be documented, such as melt flow rate, density, and tensile properties, ensuring they align with design type specifications. - Additionally, manufacturers must perform appropriate mechanical design type tests on packagings or IBCs made from each batch of recycled plastics material. - These programs should also include information about the original plastics and their prior use, especially if previous contents might affect the performance of new packagings or IBCs. These amendments aim to enhance safety and environmental considerations in the use of IBCs for transporting dangerous goods.
