In this article titled "Building 1dcnn for damage detection Part 1: File Handling and Data Preprocessing Using Python and viktor https://lnkd.in/duUZ3hTv ", I showed how automation capability of python could be used for file handling and data preprocessing of sensor data that comes with alot of metadata. The case study is with the dataset of the #qataruniversityqrandstand that comes in #TXT format. The python code was turn into a web app using VIKTOR. This is important if you are developing deep learning models and your dataset need to be in the right format and shape to train your model. In the next article, I will be showing how to train and deploy a #1DCNN model for damage detection and localisation using python which is inspired from the paper published by Onur Avci titled 'Real-time vibration-based structural damage detection using one-dimensional convolutional neural networks'. Some snippet on how the models make prediction on some new datasets are below.
