It was an honor for VOICE to participate in the celebration of the 20 years of #ECAM Meagui and facilitate a panel on data management. It’s so heartwarming to see a great cooperative in action – and more broadly how cooperatives are getting more and more structured and strengthened under the great leadership of ASSATA DOUMBIA. And for once, it was wonderful to talk about the requirements of the EUDR, discuss living income and challenges of data ownership with those directed impacted: cocoa producers themselves. We hope ECAM and other cooperatives doing amazing work will receive proper support and a fair price for their hard work so they can keep thriving!
