I'm very happy to announce that BitPet has been granted 5 MNOK (approx. $480k) of governmental funding from Norges forskningsråd (Research Council of Norway). With this funding, we will get our game through a soft launch phase. As part of this project, we will also research the health effects of playing BitPet together with NTNU Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The vision for BitPet has always been to “make daily physical activity fun and social”, and this funding is a significant milestone in transforming our vision into reality.
