Here’s a look back at the key updates from last month: 💠 We partnered with UGC Ninja to equip WePlay HUB studios with the tools and support needed to create impactful user-generated content, boosting their marketing and audience engagement. 💠 We’re excited to announce a new partnership with AppMagic, providing our studios with powerful tools to analyze mobile game markets and enhance growth strategies. 🌟 💠 Our collaboration with Heroic Labs brings advanced backend services for multiplayer and social features to WePlay HUB studios, elevating the gaming experience across all our projects. 🎉 💠 In partnership with Workup İş Bankası, applications for the 2nd cohort of the Workup Gaming Program are now open! This three-month program offers startups technical and business development training, workshops, and one-on-one mentorship. 🎮 💠 We teamed up with BUG Lab TEKMER for the XR Hackathon, held at BAU Galata Campus from September 6-8, with Meta as the main sponsor. WePlay Ventures | July Updates 🌟 Hello everyone, last month we continued to make remarkable strides in the gaming industry. 🎮 I’m excited to share some key highlights from July: 💠 WePlay HUB Pitch Day: We concluded the 3rd cohort of WePlay HUB with an incredible Pitch Day after three months of intense work. Special guests from the gaming ecosystem joined us for this event. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our 16 game studios that completed their three-month training. With a diverse mix of PC/Console, Mobile, and AR/VR developers, each team brought their A-game, presenting their projects with exceptional skill and creativity. A huge thanks to our mentors and partners for their guidance and support. 🌠🎮 💠 WePlay HUB 4th Batch: I’m thrilled to announce the start of the 4th batch of our WePlay Hub Acceleration Program! 🏆 This time, we have an incredible lineup of 10 top-tier studios from various regions: 5 from Turkey, 2 from the UAE, and 1 each from Romania, Germany, and Uzbekistan. I am confident that each of these studios is ready to make their mark in the gaming world and bring new ideas to life. Wishing them all the best in their three-month journey. WePlay HUB is excited to support the XR Hackathon as a partner, sponsored by Meta 🌟. The event will take place from September 6-8 at BAU Galata Campus, hosted by BUG Lab TEKMER 📅. Developers and designers working on XR (MR/VR/AR) and A.I. technologies can apply here 🖥️: https://lnkd.in/dmBSa5ZM The hackathon will also be held globally in London (August 14-16), Cologne (August 18-20) 🌐, and simultaneously in Stockholm and Istanbul (September 6-8). Prizes will be awarded in several categories, with up to $1000 for first place 🥇 and $500 for second place 🥈. The top six projects will compete for Meta's $100,000 development fund 💰. To assist with preparation, an online workshop will be held on August 8, from 17:00 to 22:00 🕔. The workshop will feature insights from experts including ShapesXR, Photon Engine, XR Bootcamp, Robot Genius, Ong Innovations, 4th Wall Breakers, and mixed.world 🧠.
