BREAKING: We just made our largest ever plastic catch in the Rio Las Vacas, Guatemala. Interceptor 006 prevented 1.4 million kg (3.1 million lbs) of trash from flowing into the Gulf of Honduras and the Caribbean Sea. All this trash came in just a few hours with the first flush of the 2024 rainy season, and it took us six days to extract it - in 272 truckloads. A huge effort from our crew in Guatemala and significant impact on plastic emissions into the oceans.
