UI/UX Designer

As an UI/UX Designer at Trimble, you will be joining a dynamic and passionate community of over 40 UX/UI designers. Our team is eager to teach and learn, fostering a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation thrive. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of agency, who is eager to learn and share knowledge, and who will not shy away from making strategic decisions.

In this role, you will support Trimble® SysQue® to empower detailers, engineers, and fabricators to work in tandem to build constructible, real-world, digitized models in Autodesk Revit. Additionally, you will support wider Trimble Platform initiatives, mainly expanding the capabilities of Trimble Connect, our 3D collaboration platform. You will also be working with the Trimble Modus Design system to ensure consistency and alignment across our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Product Manager and other stakeholders to identify UX objectives and design execution.
• Define usability testing plans, for remote or testing in the field.
• Create user personas, customer journeys, and task workflows.
• Utilize an existing design system to align the look and feel of the contributing solutions.
• Design workflows that optimize the usability of the entire workflow.
• Usability test design prototypes.
• Create high fidelity designs and design assets.
• Support implementation of high fidelity design by development teams.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making processes, ensuring that design aligns with overall business objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

• A degree in User Experience Design, Human-computer Interaction, Interaction Design or the like.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an UX/UI Designer focused on complex, data driven and ideally technical software and a compelling portfolio to prove it.
• Some experience with UX inside an Agile environment.
• Team spirit
• Capacity to learn by doing, and willingness to accept direction.
• Willingness to contribute your own creativity and originality.
• Fluency with common design products such as Figma.
• Availability to join our team in Bodegraven at least 3 days in our office.
