Another project we are proud to be a part of! The Shell Blue Hydrogen Process (SBHP) technology has been selected as a key part of the decarbonisation value chain supporting Oman’s Vision 2040 and its ambition to reach Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050.

The results are in! 44% of respondents to our Decarbonisation Strategies poll said they were most interested in renewable fuels. Carbon capture and storage came in second, with 30% of respondents selecting that option. Now, we want to know: Why are you pursuing decarbonisation strategies? Last week, Technip Energies and Shell Catalysts & Technologies announced a technology transfer agreement which accelerates the commercialization of Technip Energies’ Bio-2-Glycols™ technology for bio-based Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) production from glucose. Elise H. Shell announced the Final Investment Decision (FID) for Polaris, a carbon capture project at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park, Scotford in Alberta, Canada, utilising Shell CANSOLV technology.
