Turning plastic waste into sustainable commodities

Om oss

Astrum Group was established in 2019 with a mission to help solve one of the world's most pressing environmental problems - the growing mountain of plastic waste. We saw that plastic waste had become a massive issue in Europe after China stopped accepting such waste in 2018 - and we understood that the EU was a strong driver in the market with directives, incentives, and sanctions for increasing the plastic recycling rate from 33% to 65% by 2035.

Astrum Group has unlocked the profit potential in the renewable sector. While Norwegian "industrial favorites" like offshore wind, hydrogen, battery production, and carbon capture undoubtedly play vital roles in our transition to a greener future, profitability and investor ROI are returning questions. The Astrum Group project has some of the sector's best profit margins and IRR. An overlooked gem in the realm of profitable sustainability is chemical recycling of plastic waste.
