This week we had the pleasure of hosting representatives from the County Governor of Agder (Statsforvalteren i Agder), Kristiansand Municipality (Kristiansand kommune) and Vennesla Municipality (Vennesla Kommune) at the N01 Datacenter Campus. It was a valuable opportunity to showcase our facility and delve into crucial discussions on safety and security. We covered the importance of proactive measures and the role of robust data center infrastructure in safeguarding against potential threats. Our conversations highlighted the need for close collaboration between the business sector and public authorities to ensure preparedness and resilience in the face of possible incidents. 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫 𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐞𝐤𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐞 🇳🇴🚀 I dag overleverte Nasjonalt eksportråd en rapport til Digitaliserings- og Forvaltningsminister Karianne Tung og statssekretær Tomas Norvoll fra Nærings- og Fiskeridepartementet. Rapporten viser til en rekke konkrete anbefalinger som skal bidra til at Norge oppnår regjeringens ambisiøse mål om en femti prosent vekst i eksporten utenom olje og gass innen 2030 📊 Abelia ledet i forkant en arbeidsgruppe for rapporten, og leder for teknologipolitikk i Abelia, Ingvild von Krogh Strand, påpekte under overleveringen viktigheten av målrettet satsing. – Med en digitaliseringsstrategi som nettopp er lansert, rapporten som kom i dag og en kommende gründermelding og veikart for teknologinæringslivet, er det viktig at regjeringen ser disse i sammenheng. – Abelias omstillingsbarometer viser Norges utfordringer med å omstille seg fra en råvarebasert eksportøkonomi til en mer teknologidrevet og innovasjonsorientert eksport, sier hun. 🌐 En robust digital infrastruktur avhenger av tett samarbeid mellom myndigheter og private aktører. Datasentre, fibernettverk og mobilnett er fundamentet i et digitalisert samfunn, men med økte cybertrusler og geopolitiske spenninger er det klart at vi må planlegge langsiktig og bedre samarbeidet mellom myndighetene og private aktører. Norwegian Communications Authority (NKOM)påpeker i deres siste risiko- og sårbarhetsanalyse at det er nødvendig med en langtidsplan for den digitale grunnmuren som involverer offentlig-privat samarbeid mellom myndighetene, ekomtilbydere og datasenteroperatører. Bulk jobber systematisk med myndigheter og offentlige instanser for å formidle hvordan datasenterindustrien er en del av samfunnets kritiske infrastruktur. Det er godt å se at kunnskapen og interessen omkring transportfiber og datasentre blir sterkere og sterkere hos offentlige myndigheter. Det er et godt utgangspunkt for en langtidsplan og gjør at vi kan tro på et digitalt og åpent samfunn som også er robust for oss alle. Vi ser frem til å fortsette vårt gode samarbeid med @Norwegian Communications Authority og bidrar gjerne inn i det videre arbeidet for å styrke fremtiden digitale grunn.
