Tomorrow is International Women's Day, and we acknowledge that we are still far from where we want our industry to be. 📊Representation in Tech: Women make up 25% of the workforce the tech industry. 👩💼Leadership Positions: Less than 20% of leadership roles in technology are held by women. 💰Venture Capital Funding: Less than 2% of venture capital funding is directed towards female-owned startups. Moreover, 58% of women in tech highlight sexism as a barrier to securing venture capital. 💸Pay Equity: The gender pay gap persists, the average salary of women in tech is over $15,000 less than men. There is clearly work to do. And we're committed to closing the gap, and that's why support initiatives like Girl Tech Fest and Women In Tech Sweden.
