  • On this #WorldCancerDay, we're highlighting the power of data in the fight against cancer, and sharing how countries can use DHIS2 to collect and analyze cancer data for more effective prevention and treatment strategies. In Jamaica, for example, the Ministry of Health has collaborated 1/3 with the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) to customize and implement the DHIS2 Oncology Module, which was first developed in Rwanda. This module, which allows users to enter oncology-related patient data, including diagnosis and treatment information, now gives Jamaica vital tools for 2/3 tracking, analyzing, and addressing the cancer burden across the country. From better data to better decisions, this initiative is a step forward in guiding cancer prevention and treatment strategies in the Caribbean. 📖 Read the full story: https://buff.ly/3PTvDuv #DHIS2 #HealthData #CancerPrevention
