We are pleased to announce that DNV Imatis has been awarded a Framework Contract by Crown Commercial Service and is officially listed on #GCloud14, making our cloud-based digital health solutions available for procurement by UK public sector organisations from 9th November 2024. The G-Cloud 14 framework serves as a Digital Marketplace where UK public sector buyers including NHS can browse, compare, and directly procure pre-qualified cloud services and software from approved suppliers. Through the Industry Bachelor in IT/IS -- University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), he’s pursuing a business bachelor’s in IT and information systems while working part-time with us—50% theory, 50% hands-on as our colleague. Sammen med godt forberedte og engasjerte ansatte fra legevakt, legevaktsentral, korttidsavdelinger, ØHD (øyeblikkelig hjelp døgnplasser) og tjenestekontor, ser vi nå frem til at DNV Imatis digitale samhandlingsløsning skal tas i bruk rett over nyttår ✨ Med løsningen skal Kristiansand kommune oppnå bedre planlegging og kontroll, og gi bedre oversikt og effektiv oppgavefordeling for de ansatte. Samhandlingsløsningen skal også bidra til en forbedret pasientflyt og styrket samarbeid på tvers av enheter, slik at pasientene opplever en mer sammenhengende og sømløs tjeneste. 🎀This October, we are proud of our team for supporting two causes close to our hearts. Several of our colleagues took part in the local Pink Ribbon Run, raising awareness about breast cancer, a disease that affects one in ten women during their lifetime. Kreftforeningen Brystkreftforeningen We also contributed to this year’s national TV fundraising campaign, an annual event run by Norwegian public broadcaster NRK since 1974. This year’s cause, the Children's Cancer Society, has one vital goal: ensuring no child dies from cancer. Until we get there, funds raised will help establish family houses near four university hospitals, offering parents a space to care for themselves, their children, and each other. The visit began with presentations from key speakers, including: 🔹 Ole Johan Kvan, Head of IT coordination at South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority, who shared the results of the Health Logistics Project. 🔹 Siebenherz Anette, Project Manager DNV Imatis at Østfold Hospital Kalnes, who highlighted Kalnes Hospital’s digital transformation. 🔹Professor Stein Kaasa, Head of Oncology at Oslo University Hospital, discussing the MyPath_EU project. 🔹Liv Astri Hovem, CEO of DNV Accelerator, explaining DNV's investment in digital health. 🔹Johan Folkunger, CEO of DNV Imatis, who gave a brief introduction to DNV Imatis’ solution capabilities At Kalnes, the delegation observed how seamless information flow and digital tools improve communication, task management, and resource allocation. They also saw how our mobile check-in solution at Radiumhospitalet enhances patient experiences. Last week, St. Olavs hospital, Trondheim University Hospital hosted an insightful two-day conference focusing on innovation in healthcare. ✨For those of us passionate about adapting digital solutions to fit the workflows of individual hospitals, municipalities, or departments – rather than the other way around – it was particularly encouraging to see the emphasis on service innovation throughout the event. Other key topics discussed at the conference included: 👉 The differences between innovation in the private and public sectors 👉 The challenges of economic sustainability. Anne-Kari Bratten from Spekter stressed that hospitals will face even tougher priorities in the future, and today’s issues will seem minor compared to what lies ahead. There is a need for new working methods with fewer resources. 👉 A culture of innovation must be built by fostering a willingness to try new solutions and accepting the risk of failure. Among the most inspiring contributions were Karolinska University Hospital, recognised as one of the most advanced hospitals in the Nordic region, and Denmark's Rigshospitalet, known for its internationally leading position in treatment, research, development, and education.
