Say hello to: Fazel Hamidi, Senior Business Designer, Oslo Yesss, we’re stoked to welcome another member to our business design team – Fazel Hamidi! Fazel is a seasoned business developer and has experience both as a founder, project manager and team member. Most recently, he worked as Business Developer at the platform Sporty. He holds a MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from BI Norwegian Business School. At EGGS, Fazel will put his strategy and market analysis skills to use, helping clients tackle complex challenges and seize new opportunities. Apart from diving into the world of business design with clients, he’s most of all looking forward to working with the rest of the team in EGGS. “The interdisciplinary approach at EGGS is something I’m really excited about. It allows for the blending of different perspectives and expertise to create truly innovative solutions”, (thanks for the free marketing, Fazel! 😉)   So, what does a designer invested in the business side of things do outside of work? Say hello to: Sara Wright, Lead Digital Designer, Oslo All the way from sunny California - please welcome Sara to the team! 😍 She comes to us from the Norwegian startup Aize, where she worked with the development of a 3D modelling product for the offshore industry. Previous to that she has worked with consulting and design for various businesses in the Bay Area, US. Sara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.   What motivates Sara in her work is using design to make the world a more accessible place. She loves complexity, and keeps a special place in her heart for working on updating old, clunky products that carry a lot of legacy. As new to EGGS, she’s looking forward to being able to bounce ideas and sparr with her new, fellow creative, colleagues.   When Sara’s not busy with client work, she sets off to the mountain peaks. Jotunheimen is her favourite spot in Norway so far. When not in the mountains, she’s likely at a rock gym, hanging with her two cats, her (one) boyfriend, or watering her far too many tomato plants. Fun fact? She is a previous military, and has also worked as a therapeutic Horse & Rider Assistant.   We’re so happy to have you with us, Sara! Say hello to: Sjur Sundin, Lead Business Designer, Oslo   Wohoo, big welcome to our latest business design star – Sjur Sundin! 🤩 Former Cali resident, he spent almost a decade working with design and product management for startups in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and San Diego before coming home to The Directorate of e-health and Unacast in Norway. Sjur holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Universitetet i Oslo (UiO) | University of Oslo and has also studied design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In EGGS, Sjur will use his experience with product management and design to connect design to business goals and outcomes. Or, in his own words, he “will help clients build and sell stuff people want”. When asked what he’s most looking forward to in EGGS, Sjur joins the growing club that points out the opportunity of working in a large community of creatives and techies.   Being a bit of a music nerd, he spends a lot of his free time playing various instruments and exploring different genres. Say hello to: Tina Slåttedal Jacobsen, Lead Business Designer, Oslo   Whoop, whoop – join us in a warm welcome to Tina! She joins our Oslo team from a position as Business Design Manager at Accenture Song. Tina brings tonnes of experience from the Norwegian design consulting industry, and holds a Masters degree in Industrial Economics & Technology Management from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In EGGS, Tina will dive straight into advising clients on strategy, innovation and business development. She has a passion for cross-disciplinary work, and loves being at the intersection of design, tech and innovation. In other words – she’ll fit right into our business design team! She’s excited about getting to know all her colleagues, and is already busy exploring all the opportunities – from finding new pals to discuss hatchery with, to helping our clients solve challenges related to sustainability. When Tina isn’t busy in the business design world, she’s immersed in the yoga universe. As a yoga practitioner and instructor, she spends many hours on the yoga mat.
