At Epicenter, we believe the magic happens when we collaborate. That’s why we have our Clusters, where change-makers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders come together to tackle today’s most pressing questions. 💥 Last week's AI x Longevity Summit is a prime example of this collaborative approach. But why did we create these clusters in the first place? Let us explain. 👉 What is a cluster? At Epicenter we believe that we reach more impact when we collaborate within and across industries, businesses, and even between competitors. With our clusters we are part of gathering companies and individuals around a common challenge or question that we innovate around together. That is why we have a variety of clusters exploring a plethora of diverse topics such as retail (Epicenter Store), real estate (Redi.city), longevity (Swedish Longevity Cluster), food tech (Good Food House) and AI (AI Cockpit). 👉 Why do we have clusters?  The rapid rise of AI tools has created a surge in demand for practical AI knowledge. The AI Cockpit addresses this need by providing guidance on leveraging AI for business, navigating its impact, and mitigating risks, bridging the gap between aspiration and action. Aging is a global challenge and the Swedish Longevity Cluster aims to position Sweden as a leader in longevity research. By mobilising innovators, researchers, investors and the public sectors, they create awareness of the benefits to mankind and the upcoming enormous longevity market. 👉 What sets the cluster initiative apart? While information is widely available, our clusters foster the creation of new knowledge. By connecting with experts, thought leaders, and peers facing similar challenges, members gain a deeper understanding and can pioneer innovative solutions. ________________________________________________ Curious on where you can read more about the clusters? Did you know that a software engineer from San Francisco named Brad Neuberg is credited as the founder of the world’s first coworking space called San Francisco Coworking Space, which opened in 2005? Fast-forward to the year 2014 and Epicenter was born on a rooftop in Stockholm. Since then, Epicenter has been the top choice coworking space for professionals in the Nordics. Various studies have shown how workers benefit from coworking spaces more than traditional offices. They experience greater levels of flexibility and thriving (defined as vitality and learning at work), a greater ability to network, as well as a stronger sense of community. According to the research done by Harvard Business Review, three cornerstones of coworking were found: 📈 Coworking spaces can give members a sense of professionalism and credibility that traditional remote working does not. In other words, the respondents felt a sense of pride and confidence when coworking in a prestigious location, and as such the coworking place has become a symbol of legitimacy. 📈 Workers with company-subsidized memberships feel that their employers take their needs seriously — regardless of where they are located. The respondents felt that their employers value them as much as the non-remote workers at their companies since the company is willing to invest to keep “out-of-town employees” together in an office setting. 📈  Coworking spaces help new businesses make a positive impression on potential clientele. It was found that the office design gives coworking space members’ businesses a professional, yet trendy, image that helps them relate to their clientele. If you’re looking for a coworking space in Stockholm, Helsinki, or Oslo, then do not hesitate to get in touch with us here on LinkedIn. #InnovationWithImpact #Coworking #BusinessGrowth
