🥇 🐟 Grand Opening of Our Second Salmon Fillet Facility in #Bergen – A Memorable Day! On Friday, October 18, 2024, we proudly celebrated the official opening of our second salmon fillet facility, located in #Godvik, close to the city of Bergen, #Norway. The day began at our office in Bergen's city center, where guests and employees gathered for a warm and welcoming mingle session. This was followed by an introduction to our company and #TeamFirstSeafood, setting the stage for the exciting events to come. Afterward, we boarded a bus that transported everyone to the new facility in Godvik. Upon arrival, our CCO, Roy Olsen, took the spotlight—literally—by climbing onto a high chair to address the crowd and offer heartfelt #congratulations to all of our employees for their hard work and dedication. His speech set the celebratory tone for the day. The highlight of the event was the official ribbon-cutting ceremony. This moment was made even more symbolic by our choice of a #fillet knife, reflecting the essence of our business. The ribbon was cut by the deputy mayor, officially marking the launch of the new factory. Following the ceremony, Amund Fjørtoft, the CEO of Insula AS, delivered a speech that underscored the significance of the day. He spoke about First Seafood’s success as a winning team and emphasized the importance of the work we do in bringing high-quality seafood to the world. The celebration concluded with a wonderful dinner at a charming restaurant back in Bergen's city center. It was a perfect way to wrap up the day, filled with delicious food, engaging conversations, more inspiring speeches, and the company of our amazing team and partners. On October 18th, we officially opened our new fillet factory in Bergen. It was a pleasure to welcome our suppliers and partners to the ceremony hosted by CCO Roy Olsen and Factory manager Pål Daniel Granberg. The Deputy Mayor of Bergen gave a speech, followed by the symbolic cutting of a red ribbon with a fillet knife and Managing Director of Insula AS Amund Fjørtoft congratulated the whole team with a big day. #weloveseafood
