Highly flexible battery pack production for Webasto Group   Electromobility plays an important role in today's world and has also left its mark on the automotive industry's system partners. As a global system partner to car manufacturers, #KUKA supplied #Webasto with a production system for battery systems.   At the Webasto plant in Schierling, Regensburg district, Bavaria, #KUKA ensured the implementation and networking of the individual production steps and the smooth manufacturing process of battery pack production with a highly flexible #Multi-Product-Line to enable the production of different battery types.   As the heart of electric vehicles, the battery requires high precision in the tightest of spaces during assembly and handling. Automation in the #constructionindustry the Smart Factory from GROPYUS shows the way   The immense demand for housing and also a shortage of skilled workers and rising real estate prices have had a significant impact on the real estate industry in recent years. Global  tensions and supply chain problems pose major challenges for the construction industry. With the automated modular house construction by #KUKA, the construction site is moved to the factory. This also arouses the interest of politicians. For example, @Klara Geywitz, Federal Minister of Housing, Urban Development and Construction, visited #KUKA Systems in Augsburg today. To learn more about the topic of modular house construction.   By supporting the robots in the construction of the houses, not only the construction time but also the costs are reduced, and logistics are optimized at the same time. #KUKA uses this innovative and resource-saving construction concept #KUKA is implementing this with 50 robots in a flexible system of Gropyus' unique Smart Factory in Richen, Baden-Württemberg. From 2025, more than 3,500 timber hybrid apartment buildings/apartments will be produced there annually, digitally planned and highly automated. The assembly on the construction sites is also partly automated.
