Wood Hotel Bodø is like an extension of nature. This will always be the ethos of our outdoor resort in northern Norway. One good example of this is how—when creating this wooden dream—trees needed to be removed, in order to make space for the new building. It wouldn’t be aligned with the philosophy of the hotel to just let the felled trees go to waste. Instead, with the help of a local craftsman, the timber was given new life and transformed into tangible items, like hand-crafted boards used by the kitchen and restaurant.
