This week we had the privilege of supporting the Mock Interview Day at SBHS. Alongside other companies, our own Sarah Mckeon, HR Advisor participated in interviewing 260 students throughout the day. Many students found the event to be incredibly beneficial, expressing appreciation for the valuable advice they received. While some were nervous at first, it was amazing to see their confidence grow as they engaged with their interviewers. All of the students were incredibly grateful for the experience, and we’re so proud to have been a part of helping them prepare for their future careers. This kind of event is truly invaluable—building confidence, providing insight, and preparing the next generation of professionals for what lies ahead. #FutureTalent #MockInterviews #CareerDevelopment #HomeToGrow

Det ble mange tunge og engelske ord i innlegget fra Orkla House Care, men her kan du i hvert fall lese det på norsk. 😊 Fortsatt litt mange tunge ord, men det skyldes også at språket rundt bærekraft ofte kan være for litt spesielt interesserte. Det må vi prøve å gjøre noe med, vi som jobber med ESG og skal forsøke å lede bærekraftig utvikling. 𝗢𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 & 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗨𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴🏡 In the face of adversity, together with Kolorit we are proud to stand with Ukrainian families affected by conflict. As a small part in the aid of rebuilding homes devastated by war, we have provided a donation of 8,000 painting tools, worth 40,000 euros for the reconstruction of homes in the war-torn regions of Ukraine. Our Ukrainian exclusive distributor 𝙁𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙖 𝙆𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩 has partnered with the volunteer battalion 𝘿𝙊𝘽𝙍𝙊𝘽𝘼𝙏 to contribute to the restoration of damaged homes in Ukraine. This initiative reflects our values of compassion and empathy, ensuring that everyone deserves a safe and welcoming home. We are thrilled to welcome Ian Hardie to the Orkla House Care team! Ian will join us as the Business Controller UK on a 12 month fixed-term contract, starting today, based at our Bromsgrove site. Ian brings a wealth of experience and expertise, having held key roles in finance such as Financial Controller, Finance Manager, and Business Controller. His most recent positions were at Calor Gas as a Senior Finance Business Partner and Rivus Fleet Solutions as a Finance Manager.
