🌟 Congratulation to Associate Professor Sulalit Bandyopadhyay for recieving UTFORSK funding for the project "Integrating Research & Education in Sustainable Chemical Engineering for Batteries & Water Treatment". In this project, we will work together with Professor Ethayaraja Mani from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M), India’s number 1 engineering university, and Professor Jan Genzer from the North Carolina State University (NCSU), which is among top 1% of universities worldwide. The project aim to: ✔️ achieve internationalization and benchmarking of the MSCHEMBI study program with focus on assessing student-active learning, research-based education and study program connectivity. ✔️redesign specific components of study programs at IIT-M, NCSU and NTNU with focus on resource recovery from secondary resources, lean process streams and water treatment. ✔️lay the groundwork for establishment of Joint Degree program in Chemical Engineering focusing on case-based teaching modules toward professional careers fostering a symbiotic relationship between practice and theory. #chemicalengineering #sustainability #education #research #internationalcollaboration
