✨ More great news! We rolled out several updates this past week, and we’re not stopping yet... One of the latest upgrades includes the ability to reply to emails before realizing they’re part of our phishing simulations. From now on, some simulations might ask you to respond to an email. Don’t worry — if you do, Pistachio will give you a friendly heads-up, confirming it was just a simulation! 📧 Why did we add this? When you respond to a phishing email, you confirm that your email account is active, making your system more vulnerable. Even a single response can open Pandora’s box of cyber trouble, allowing future phishing attempts to land directly in your inbox. #FeatureSpotlight

Great news: we’ve added calling simulations to our training! 📞 Phone scams are becoming more common and bad actors often use calls to trick people into giving up personal information. We want to make sure you’re ready to handle any phishing scam—including those over the phone. Going forward, some of our simulations will encourage you to call a phone number. If you do, you’ll hear a friendly message from Pistachio letting you know it was just a simulation. As always, it’s perfectly okay to fall for these simulations—they’re meant to be hard, so you’re better prepared for the real thing 💪

I'm now the type of person who talks enthusiastically about security awareness.

🎙 The Security Space | Episode 54 | Zack Korman | Security Awareness in an AI World On today's episode of The Security Space I am joined by Zack Korman, CTO of Pistachio. We discuss how security awareness has changed over the past decade and how the evolving landscape of threats (that inevitably involves AI) has meant that we need to move with the times by maturing our approach to security awareness. Pistachio are specialists in security awareness as their product provides tailored training for employees, focusing on real-world threats such as phishing attacks. Its platform approach emphasises simplicity, ease of use and personalisation. Training modules and simulations are customised to each individual, adapting based on their performance and needs.

Our Performance page just got an upgrade! ✨ We’ve updated the layout to make it easier to see the difference between our two types of training: Simulations and Scenarios. Now, you can quickly get an overview of your team's progress in both areas. Plus, we've added more filtering options, so you can dive into specific topics or view everything at once like normal. Let us know what you think of this new look! 👋

At Pistachio, we don’t just send out simulations… Sometimes, we send beautifully wrapped gift boxes too! 🎁 In our latest blog post, Silje shares the journey of how a “simple” marketing idea turned into an all-hands-on-deck team effort that tested our creativity, patience, and wrapping skills. Our simulations provide hands-on experience with real-world cybersecurity scenarios, helping to build long-term resilience and boost awareness. If someone clicks on a simulation, there's no need to worry. It's actually a great opportunity to learn! At Pistachio, we never punish or make anyone feel shame for failing a simulation. Instead, we provide immediate feedback with guidance on how to spot the clues in future training simulations and actual attacks💡
