Last week our colleague Nicholas Norton returned from spending some time with the Quantify Research team in Chandigarh. Over the course of two weeks Nicholas managed to squeeze in work, great team building and even a trip to one of the highest altitude locations in the world. Working with teams in multiple locations can have its challenges but is something we at Quantify are immensely proud to have as part of our fabric. We believe that building a diverse team is key to our success. Geetika Bhasin, Kripi Vohra Syal, Dr Neha Singh, Puneet Kaushik, Rupanshi Grover, SOUMYA NANDA, Dr. Stuti Arya - we got him back safely and with some tasty treats as a bonus! We will have to send him back when they run out! 😋 Quantify Research info@quantifyresearch.com www.quantifyresearch.com

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐑𝐖𝐄) 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 The landscape of healthcare research is rapidly evolving, and social media is emerging as a valuable resource for real-world evidence (RWE) studies. In one of Quantify’s publications, 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐀 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭'𝐬 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞, the public sentiment towards vaccination was depicted by analyzing tweets. This work shines a spotlight on how social media can revolutionize our approach to understanding patient experiences, treatment outcomes, and more. Here are some additional examples on how social media is transforming RWE research: 🔦 Patient-Centered Insights: Social media platforms are rich with patient narratives, providing unfiltered insights into patient experiences, challenges, and outcomes. These posts can help researchers better understand the real-world unmet needs and impact of treatments from the patient's perspective. 🔦 Population Diversity and Target Subgroups: Social media spans across demographics, giving access to diverse populations and perspectives that might be underrepresented in clinical trials. This inclusivity is crucial for studies aiming to generalize findings to the broader population. 🔦 Early Signal Detection: By monitoring social media conversations, researchers can detect emerging trends, side effects, or off-label uses of medications before they are reported through traditional channels. 🔦 Real-Time Data Collection: Unlike traditional sources for retrospective data, social media can allow for real-time collection of data, enabling more timely analyses and interventions. Quantify’s publication is a testament to the untapped potential of social media in RWE research. As we continue to explore and refine these methods, we can expect more comprehensive, timely, and patient-centered evidence that will ultimately lead to better healthcare outcomes. Are you interested in leveraging social media for research or insights in your field? Let’s discuss! https://lnkd.in/dXHt-4KE #RealWorldEvidence #SocialMediaResearch #HealthcareInnovation #PatientVoice #DataScience Quantify Research info@quantifyresearch.com www.quantifyresearch.com
