Whether it's about highlighting a brand, providing information about services, or attracting customers to a nearby store, the screens offer precise and relevant exposure. Instead of just waiting for the car to charge, drivers gain access to up-to-date information, entertainment, and targeted messages that add value. With charging hubs like the one at Bromma Blocks, we are paving the way for how future charging infrastructure can be integrated with digital signage. Spanning 22,000 square meters and featuring distinctive Scandinavian architecture, World of Volvo is a joint venture between Volvo Cars and Volvo Group, with the goal of becoming the city’s premier destination and meeting place. The installation includes a range of models from our product line-up, including both LED-, LFD- screens and Desktop monitors. The carefully chosen displays and screen solutions integrate seamlessly with the center's interactive exhibitions, entertainment events, and culinary experiences, enhancing the dynamic atmosphere and bringing Volvo's history, values, and future vision to life. As an international company, we have people from all over the world in our Nordic offices. One of the people who moved to Stockholm to work at Samsung is Sam Dargahi, who has lived in three of our Nordic capitals. What inspired you to move from Denmark to Sweden?  First and foremost, the role. I had already lived in Oslo for a couple of years and in Copenhagen for a year. It may have been a bit early for me to move away, but I saw the opportunity at Samsung, and I knew I had to grab it. I am really happy I made that decision.  I have been working with mobile phones my entire life. I started my first job repairing electronics in a small basement repair shop when I was 15. Going from that to the biggest phone manufacturer in the world, I have seen the entire spectrum.  Before I left Norway, I had a tight collaboration with Samsung and the team I am working with now. Being on the “other side” for several years gave me high confidence in the move. You’ve lived in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, what differences have you seen? Any surprises?  The biggest surprise for me, and an insight I have gained is how similar the cultures are. For me, country wise you might as well merge the 3 countries into 1. The real cultural differences are more regional. I grew up 30 minutes from the Swedish border. Culturally I feel closer to people from the Swedish border region than someone from Stockholm. Regionally there are differences but for me and the way I view it, it has shifted into looking at Scandinavia as a single unit.  To anyone thinking of moving to another country, my advice is to create a social network outside of work. What has worked best for me are hobbies. A lot of my social network in Sweden is through rock climbing and skydiving. Of course, colleagues are important but to thrive where you are, outside of working hours, hobbies and passions are golden opportunities when starting with blank sheets and expanding your network.  The most rewarding part has been the environment and colleagues at Samsung. Sure, it is a job, but I didn’t expect I would be here for over 5 years or gain citizenship looking back at when I first started. But Samsung, my colleagues, and the warm and positive environment here have been the most rewarding part and led me to stay. Are you interested in joining our team? With an office space of 8500 m2 and 65 meeting rooms, Ximple AB has been part of the remodelling journey from the very beginning. The goal was to create user friendly, aesthetically pleasing and reliable systems that also meets their sustainability requirements.
