Swedish slopestyle star Emil Johansson played a pivotal role as a key contributor in the development process of the helmets. This platform will feature three distinctive helmet models based on Sweet Protection’s 2Vi® technology platform, with the Fixer Carbon 2Vi® Mips being the most advanced downhill full-face helmet on the market. In addition to the Fixer 2Vi® Mips models, the lineup includes the Strayer 2Vi® Mips helmet, designed for aggressive trail riding, enduro racing, or any situation where additional protection is essential. The Fixer Carbon 2Vi® Mips made its debut worn by Johansson at Crankworx Innsbruck in June, where he took 3rd place. FIXER CARBON 2Vi® MIPS - our most advanced Downhill full-face MTB helmet is specially designed and engineered for downhill racing, slopestyle and park riding. The modern way of riding bikes has been taken into consideration where field of vision is tailored to the extended reach needed. Built on Sweet Protection's 2Vi® helmet technology platform and known for its impact performance and comfort, the helmet strikes a balance between low weight and volume. In a remarkable collaboration with Johansson, every aspect has been meticulously engineered to perfection, representing the dedication to detail and drive for innovative solutions. A progressively engineered carbon shell made of linear un-woven fibers in optimized direction throughout the whole shell to optimize strength, stiffness and weight, sits at the heart of the helmet. The shell construction allows for a low-density EPS shock absorbing structure to maximize travel upon impact, complemented by four impact shields in each corner of the head for optimizing impact dissipation where the head has a sharper radius. It also features an exclusive 2-Layer Mips System. The two layers are designed to move slightly in the event of an impact to help redirect rotational motion away from the head. This is intended to help reduce the risk of brain injury. The helmet offers a well-vented removable lining and quick-release cheek pads for emergency situations and underlining our commitment to protection and comfort.
