I grew up in a tiny ski town and we didn't "go to camp" since we effectively lived AT camp. So when Geoffrey Gualano graciously let me volun-tell myself into Camp A2X, I considered that a big win. Kayaking AND ecomm accounting? What's a girl to do but say "yes, please!" We spent 3 days diving into the ways we help our clients grow, while tackling the big hairy/scary world of ecomm inventory & accounting. Brittany Brown lead a workshop breaking down all of the steps of how inventory flows through the accounting process and we got to highlight some of our favorite tech solutions to help make the process easier. It is almost a week removed from #CampA2X and after having some time to reflect, I want to thank A2X and specifically Geoffrey, Jamie, and Jamie for the honor of being a part of this amazing community. Just wrapped up an unforgettable 72 hours at #CampA2X, diving deep with the leaders in #ecommerceaccounting! As a SaaS founder, I'm constantly in awe of how the A2X team—Jamie McDonald, Jamie Shulman, Geoffrey Gualano, Stephen Smith, and everyone else—creates real community, clearly communicates A2X’s value, and goes beyond just understanding their product to mastering their customers' entire business. Their commitment to customer success is truly unmatched. I didn’t take no for an answer! After my application was denied at first, I managed to finagle my way into Camp A2X. And I’m so glad I did! What made it so great? 🏕️ The Setting: Three days in the beautiful cottage country, north of Toronto. A beautiful place to close out summer. 🤓 The Community: I met an incredible group of business owners who were as comfortable discussing cash conversion as they were singing karaoke! I’ve found that building a strong network is key to navigating the ups and downs of growing a business. 🤝 Learning & Sharing: I had the honor of speaking on a panel about M&A, where we discussed the growing opportunities in our industry. I’ll tell you a secret— it’s the next HVAC! And I learned a ton from folks like Brittany Brown, Sam Hill, Mike Pinkus, CPA, CA, Chad Davis and so many others who were so generous with their knowledge. Big thanks again to the awesome team at A2X! Can’t wait for next year!
