Unlock the Power of Microsoft 365: Elevate Your Team's Productivity and Collaboration. - 25 years experience delivering training programmes on Microsoft 365 apps, Copilot and modern work practices

A few weeks ago, I was trying to find out what happened to being able to set an expiry date on sharing files from OneDrive and SharePoint other than when sharing to Anyone. It seemed that the feature had rolled out but rolled back again a short time later. It seems that Microsoft had temporarily disabled this feature to fix an issue associated with it. I am happy to see that this feature has returned.

Meet Richard! 👋 With over 23 years of experience at ACE Training, Richard brings a unique perspective from his transition from farming at Mt. Somers to becoming one of our most experienced trainers. Starting with MS Access in 2000, he's expanded his expertise across our entire portfolio. We asked Richard; *** "What's the biggest misconception people have about Microsoft training, and how do you help students overcome their initial fears or hesitations about learning new tech skills?" *** "That's an interesting question! The answer varies from person to person. Most attending enthusiastically soak up all the information on offer because they have chosen to attend, and generally have no misconceptions. Some are 'sent' to a course, are nervous and think they will never keep up, maybe have to sit an exam at the end of the day and fear it's like going back to school again! I sense who they are and do my best to put them at ease when they arrive over a coffee, or make a point of asking them how they relate what they are learning to their daily work."

It's been nearly one year since Microsoft 365 Copilot became generally available, and already 60% of the Fortune 500 are using it. 🎉 ➡️ Vodafone is deploying 68,000 licenses after seeing average time savings of 3 hours a week per person, with 90% of users praising the benefits. ➡️ Finastra's marketing team is creating assets in 7 weeks that used to take 7 months. ➡️ Lumen Technologies' sales organization is saving 4 hours per week per employee—a projected $50 million annual savings. ➡️ Bank of Queensland's employees are using Copilot to create memos, training materials, and speaking notes in minutes instead of hours. ➡️ To accelerate rare disease research, 20,000 Amgen employees are using Copilot to support operations, from the office to the lab. ➡️ Staff at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are saving between 1-4 hours per week on administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on frontline services. ➡️ ICG - Industrialized Construction Group employees are writing customer proposals 6x faster. A process that once took 3 hours can now be done in 30 minutes, allowing their sales team to pursue more opportunities and revenue. ➡️ Honeywell's employees are saving 92 minutes per week—that's 74 hours a year! Disclaimer: Statistics are from an internal Honeywell survey of 5,000 employees where 611 employees responded.

Meet Fiona! 👋 Fiona has been an integral part of our accounts team at Ace Training for the past 2.5 years. When she's not crunching numbers, you'll find her creating beautifully decorated cakes or exploring the great outdoors with her two daughters. We asked Fiona *** "What's the most common misconception businesses have about the financial aspects of investing in professional development?" *** "One of the most common misconceptions I have found is that investing in professional development is an unnecessary expense rather than a valuable investment. By investing in professional development, this can help enhance an employee's loyalty and retention. When having opportunities for growth, an employee is more likely to stay which in turn reduces the costs of turnover and recruitment."
