Bosfa makes no apology for being the market leader in Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) and challenging draconian prescriptive engineering, which stifles innovation. Working closely with reputable universities and organizations, we provide solutions based on robust R&D and engineering models. We're at the forefront of developing steel fibre reinforced concrete, a technology that transformed industrial floor construction. The initial skepticism we encountered provided valuable opportunities to engage with engineers, demonstrating the technology's merits through comprehensive research and technical expertise. Working with reputable Design & Build contractors and project engineers we can provide full design support. Got a project you want us to #valueengineer?

They say 'Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery' but blatantly saying a counterfeit fiber is Dramix™ and using the Dramix™ product name is a step too far. We need the industry to step up and prevent the use of fake inferior products. If anyone other than Bosfa offers you a 3D, 4D, or 5D fibre, please let us know so we can take action. To verify the authenticity of any steel fibre products you purchase, please ensure the following: 👍 The CE reference number and product name are clearly displayed on the product packaging and datasheets. 👍 The CE documentation matches the product packaging, including the product name and CE reference number. 👍 Only purchase from authorized Bosfa representatives to guarantee the genuine quality of our products.

⏪ Maximising Tensile Strength with Hooked-End Steel Fibres in SFRC ⏩ Research has demonstrated that hooked-end fibres provide superior anchorage, ensuring optimal stress transfer in SFRC. This is particularly crucial for high-tensile steel fibres to fully leverage their increased tensile strength. High-tensile fibres (+2000 MPa) are well-suited for high-strength concrete (+70 MPa), as the wire's tensile strength is sufficient to prevent fibres snapping (Brittle failure). However, increasing the tensile strength of fibres in medium-strength concrete (40 MPa) does not substantially enhance SFRC performance, as fibres will merely deform and pull through (Ductile failure). To effectively utilize high-tensile wires in medium-strength concrete, it is imperative to reinforce anchorage by modifying the hook's shape. Key benefits of #Dramix 4D hooked-end fibres: 🗝 Enhanced Anchorage: Prevent fibres from slipping or pulling out, maximising tensile strength utilisation. 🗝 Improved Ductility: Enhance the material's ability to deform before ductile failure. 🗝 Crack Bridging: Effectively bridge cracks to maintain structural integrity. Additional considerations: 💡 Fibre Length, Diameter and Volume: Longer fibres and higher volumes (length of reinforcement) increase fibre overlap and anchorage. By incorporating #Dramix 4D hooked-end fibres into your SFRC projects, you can unlock their full potential and deliver durable, high-performance structures. #SFRC #SteelFibres #HookedEndFibres #Construction #MaterialsScience #Dramix

Very fortunate to have celebrated 8yrs with BOSFA - on a first overseas factory tour & team meeting at PT Bekaert Indonesia 🇮🇩 It was very powerful to meet in person the people who manufacture #Dramix - especially the 4D production team. The supply chain connection & relationship with Indonesia provides enormous value to all of us in AU/NZ. Thanks Nina Winengku Lestari for the passionate & enlightening experience! BOSFA Pty Ltd
