Today marks a significant moment in history—New Zealand’s Suffrage Day. It’s a reminder that over 130 years ago, New Zealand became the first country where women won the right to vote. This milestone continues to shape our governance landscape, paving the way for diversity, equity, and leadership in boardrooms nationwide. At CGI NZ, we continue to celebrate the progress made and recognise the ongoing journey. Strong governance demands gender balance at the table, and it's up to us as leaders to ensure that women’s voices are heard and valued in every decision we make. Let’s honour this day by committing to governance that reflects true representation.
