All-in-one solution for bookshops. POS, webshop & bookshop management, fully integrated. Focus on selling books!

About us

CirclePOS.com was created to give local and independent bookshops the tools to work more efficiently and easily sell online, paving the path to a local future for books. The POS (Point of Sale) system is the heart of your bookshop. It heavily influences what you’re able to do, and how much effort that costs. So if you work on an old system, you will end up having to spend much more time and effort. We offer an all-in-one system that includes POS, the back office where you do all bookshop management, and a free & integrated e-commerce website that always works and doesn’t require manual updates. Our systems are modern and designed to help you. Cloud-based, so no servers are needed, no licenses, use your Mac, work from home. Built-in 4M title database, no more spending many hours adding new books to your system. We’re active for more than 25 years, the biggest in the Pacific region and starting to grow in the rest of the world. Connect with us if you’re interested to see how we can make your life easier. We offer free demos.

This month, our local bookstore community’s top books feature an interesting mix of new and award-winning titles: 1. The Land of Lost Things (Adventures Unlimited #1) by Andy Griffiths leads the pack with its hilarious, action-packed adventure. 2. There Are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Şafak / Elif Shafak follows closely, a rich historical novel about love, loss, and healing, set between the River Thames and River Tigris. 3. The Men Who Killed the News by Eric Beecher grabs third place, exposing "How Media Moguls Abused Their Power, Manipulated the Truth and Distorted Democracy". 4. A Death in Cornwall by Daniel Silva brings thrilling international intrigue to our list. 5. All Fours by Miranda July continues to charm readers with its boundary-pushing tale of a woman seeking freedom. 6. Praiseworthy by Alexis Wright, winner of the 2024 Miles Franklin Literary Award and Stella Prize, a novel which pushes allegory and language to its limits, a cry of outrage against oppression and disadvantage, and a fable for the end of days. Congrats to all the authors! #readlocal #localauthor #supportlocalbookstores

The local book world is an amazing universe! 💛 We have local bookstores, authors, illustrators, libraries, educators, and of course, local readers! We’re thrilled to be part of this community and to see so many great initiatives supporting local literature. Have you heard of StoryBoxHub? It’s a digital platform that celebrates Australia’s local authors and illustrators by bringing their work to kids in a fun and engaging way. We asked Del from StoryBoxHub, “What’s the funniest moment when a story was told on your platform?” “One of the funniest moments was the filming of 'Alpacas with Maracas' with author Matt Cosgrove and comedian Jimmy Rees. Filmed at Stanton Library in Sydney, it brought together a comedian, an author, a herd of alpacas, and a bunch of children’s books all in one room! Matt and Jimmy had to handle ‘scary’ alpaca noises, an unreasonably large jar of pickles, and even a moment where someone forgot their own name.” It was so much fun that they released three mini-films to share the bloopers, discuss the differences between llamas and alpacas, and highlight why you should never work with animals!
