Clayton Hops NZ

Hop harvest is now in full swing in the Nelson, Tasman region. Across our four farms the teams are working tirelessly in the summer heat to harvest the hops and get them straight to our impressive state-of-the-art processing facility to create pellets, oils and concentrated pellets all under one roof at Waimea West. Lucky visitors get to appreciate the incredible aromas of the NZ hop varieties and the beautiful scenery of our farms. It is a very intense time of year for those involved in hops and it’s all over in just a few weeks. Our facilities and processes ensure our hops are converted swiftly, so the hops are at their best giving our customers a superior quality product for craft brewers across the globe. A milestone was marked this week at Clayton Hops as we planted our first selected exclusive hop for commercialization from our partnership with The New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research Limited at Blue Rock farm. We are very excited about the future of this hop and taking a unique variety from New Zealand to brewers around the globe.

We love seeing how brewers use our hop products, and Amplifire™️ hop oils and Amplifire™️ concentrated pellets are no exception. They are really having some impact in the market.
