The recent “Connecting Capital with Climate Solutions” event was a stunning success. Over 100 attendees heard about the breadth and depth of climate-friendly investable propositions in Aotearoa. These span from: (a) early stage companies working on innovative ways to reduce emissions (the sort Climate VC Fund invests in), to (b) Infrastructure like wind, solar and batteries; to (c) Nature-based solutions including forestry and blue carbon projects. Funding climate-friendly projects, companies and infrastructure can not only help reduce emissions, it can make fantastic commercial returns for you too.
