Last month was a busy period for Cone Marshall Middle East. Catching up on the wealth planning scene in Paris, Riyadh and London - meeting with brilliant people and learning great insights on the trends in each market and the needs of families contemplating a move to the UAE. But the highlight of this period was the leadership retreat in Wyoming, USA - it was a great opportunity to bond and liaise with the different markets directors of the CM Group, solidify the mechanisms for a closer collaboration between our Middle East presence and all our other 15 offices across the globe. That’s on the professional level. As for the beauty of the place, this is a different story: The scenery in the Wild West is breathtaking and I can’t describe how grateful I am to have explored every corner of the gorgeous Yellowstone. On October 22nd, Cone Marshall Group and TALENTURE SA hosted an event in Lugano, Switzerland focusing on the future of trusts and strategies for success in wealth planning. The event featured a morning and afternoon session with lawyers, fiduciaries, and bankers to discuss key legal and regulatory topics and future collaborations.    Andrea Laurino, Managing Director of Cone Marshall Trustees Italia, presented on "Building Trusts for the Future," emphasizing our international presence and the advantages of coordinated collaboration across our various locations as a vital asset for continued growth.   The key topics covered in the presentations included overviews of Cone Marshall Group and TALENTURE SA, the roles of trustees and protectors, private trust companies, foundations, and more global fiduciary services offered by Cone Marshall Group. Our Cone Marshall Group UK Director, Matthew Gamman was a featured speaker at the Moores Rowland Annual AGM and Conference in Shenzhen, China on September 28th. He led an insightful discussion on the termination of the UK resident non-domiciled tax status, and its far-reaching implications. Matthew also examined key emerging migration and private wealth trends in Far East Asia as a result of these changes.   In a time when global wealth planning is increasingly complex, these discussions are essential in helping clients navigate the evolving legislative landscape.
