About us
Founded in 2015, the Eczema Association of New Zealand Inc (EANZ) is part of an independent, non-for-profit Australasian-wide organisation aimed to raise awareness and provide support to those affected by eczema. Affecting as many as one in five New Zealanders, eczema is a common, frustrating, and often debilitating skin condition that can have a significant physical and emotional toll on sufferers’ quality of life. With over 7,000 members in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific, EANZ is part of a strong network of eczema sufferers, carers, General Practitioners, Dermatologists, and related Health Professionals. We provide our members with valuable knowledge and first-hand experience on how to manage and treat eczema with advice and support across a wide range of issues, from diet and irritants, to clothing and managing stress. We also educate the broader community about how eczema affects people’s lives and advocate for improvements to the quality-of-care sufferers receive. As a registered non-profit charity, we rely on memberships, donations, and corporate sponsorship to achieve our aims.
