Swing by the Britomart Pavilions this week to visit our pop-up store. We started the week with a media launch for the new Streetdog80 and then officially opened the doors to the public. Make sure you come meet the new dog in town before Sunday 16th when we wrap up shop. Next up, we're taking the Streetdog80 down to Wellington and Christchurch, then across the ditch to Sydney and Melbourne. Dates and locations coming soon.

  • One of the perks of being involved with FTN is the chance to meet Streetdog owners doing incredible things. Mark Darrah from RELIANCE TRANSPORT LTD is a perfect example! We caught up with Mark last week when he stopped by to drop off his Streetdog for a service. At the same time, we had the opportunity to check out Reliance Transport's Volvo FM Electric truck, which made for a unique photo opportunity to showcase Mark’s all-electric lineup! Since 2022, the team at Reliance Transport has been taking significant steps toward achieving carbon neutrality. This is no small feat, especially for a transport company specialising in FCL Swinglifts, Flatdecks, and Skeletals for container and steel delivery. To help manage fleet replacement, they’ve launched Project Switch, an ambitious eight-stage initiative. Visit projectswitch.co.nz if you're interested in learning more.

  • Looking for the Ultimate Part-Time Summer Job in New Zealand? Get paid to ride electric motorbikes and chat with some of the greatest people in the country! We're seeking a highly engaged sales professional to join the FTN crew. You'll be based in and around Auckland and assist with roadshow events from time to time. The role will be from the start of December through to the end of February, with the possibility of additional work. Check out the full job description for more details, and please share this with anyone you think might be a good fit.

  • We're all about delivering the highest quality bikes for getting around town. To help achieve this, we've started testing Streetdog performance with the crew at BRM DYNO in Paeroa, New Zealand. Their dynamometer offers a consistent testing environment to measure key performance metrics, including power, torque, range, and temperature across various components of the Streetdog. Combined with on-road testing, this data gives our engineering team deeper insights into performance and identifies areas for gain. This process has been valuable in the development of the new Streetdog80, which is in the final stages of iteration before production gets underway. It’s also a unique experience for the BRM DYNO team, who typically test loud race bikes that produce strong fumes and high heat in their confined dynamometer chamber. For us, however, they keep the doors open and the earmuffs off!

  • Here’s a sneak peek of the very first Midnight Blue Streetdog being assembled 🐶 Like all future Streetdogs, it features a reworked frame design for greater stability and handling. The major enhancement here is new end-to-end top tubes that boost stiffness. Previously, top tubes connected to a single body tank reinforced with fiberglass to support load-bearing. With the new top tube design, this reinforcement is no longer necessary. The side panels and tank top are now separate components, resulting in simpler assembly, customisation, and servicing. Plus, it still offers 30 liters of storage space inside, while allowing direct access to the motor controller when the side panels are removed. #FTNMotion #ElectricMotorcycle
