🚀 Just back from the Paris Defence & Strategy Forum, and wow, what an experience! It was a privilege to be able to listen and discuss with some of the most influential figures in Europe's defence sector, including the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, France's Minister of Defence, Sébastien Lecornu, and key military decision makers from the UK and France. My key takeaways: Talent is Key 🌟: There's a unanimous agreement that attracting and retaining top talent is now a strategic priority for the defence sector in Europe. It's all about getting the right people in the right places to keep us safe and secure. Tech as a Game Changer 💡: AI and other technologies are set to revolutionise efficiency and productivity. Imagine having more time to think, create, and solve because the machines are taking care of the routine. That future is now. Collective Intelligence is the Future 🧠: One of the biggest challenges we face is breaking down silos to solve complex problems. True collaboration across teams and leveraging collective intelligence is hard but necessary. And yes, most tools out there don't quite cut it—they create more barriers than bridges. I'm really excited because we've been tackling these challenges head-on for years at Hive & FutureWork Studio. We've been perfecting ways to harness collective intelligence, making teams more than the sum of their parts. And it works. When you get it right, the results are nothing short of magical. Our CEO Vincent Vuillard will be on stage this afternoon at the Paris Defence and Strategy Forum hosted by the École de Guerre to discuss how organisations are leveraging AI to streamline work which frees up time for people. Our research shows that it could be around 15 to 30% of freed up capacity depending on the job. The biggest question is what can employees do with that capacity? We've been working with organisations to help uncover the talent from within, the skills, experience, knowledge and passion that employees have beyond their current roles so they can decide to help others. Imagine a workplace where people learn from each others, exchange knowledge, skills easily. We will be sharing more on this as we launch our new Hive plugin for Microsoft Teams that makes all this way easier for our clients.
