Lime plaster is a durable finish that is timeless, and elegant and creates a healthy living environment. We use earth and lime plasters in our HM panels for so many reasons. The clay in earth plasters helps maintain internal humidity and allows excess moisture to safely exit the building through the wall structure without building up anywhere and causing condensation within the wall structure. These materials are much more flexible than cement plasters and can be applied over large areas with less risk of cracking and without the use of cracking control joints. Also by being heavy and because of the thickness we apply them they are noise-insulating and fire-resistant, as well as able to store heat. Plus, the look and feel of earth and lime plaster finishes is beautiful.
