Neeru’s interest in the field of HR ignited during her MBA in 2002, and it has only grown stronger since she began teaching HR-related courses and conducting research in 2005. Today, she serves as the Principal Academic Staff Member and Degree Leader for the Bachelor of Business programme at Open Polytechnic, where she draws on her MBA in Human Resource Management and Ph.D. in Management to shape the next generation of HR professionals. Achieving Chartered Member (CMHRNZ - Academic) status is a significant milestone in Neeru’s career. This recognition reflects her commitment to aligning her academic work with industry needs in New Zealand, a focus she embraced after transitioning to Aotearoa in 2017.
